The 8th Knowledge Acquisition Workshop of Palestinian Studies held

The 8th Knowledge Acquisition Workshop of Palestinian Studies was held on Saturday, April 15, 2017 in the Iran Hall of the Faculty of World Studies. Mr. Irani, General Manager of Arab Middle East and North Africa Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the former ambassador to Jordan and Lebanon, spoke at the workshop which was attended by professors and students of the major. General Manager of Arab Middle East and North Africa Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs talked about the relationship between Arab states and Israel. He provided some background information about the case of Saudi Arabia in this matter as an important issue. He also analyzed the recent changes in the relationship between Saudi Arabia and Israel. Mr. Irani pronounced the issues of Syrian conflict and Iran nuclear program as topics that have tightened the connection between the two states in recent years. He considered the Israeli regime to be the principal winner of this relationship while, in spite of some activities by Arab officials, the Arab public opinion and elites are still against Israel and these relations. The Knowledge Acquisition Workshops of Palestinian Studies are held on Saturdays, from 10 to 12 PM, in the Iran Hall. All professors and students of the Faculty of World Studies are welcome to attend the workshops.
